Month of May was a time to celebrate the season with flowers, planting crops, dancing around the May pole. Much of that happened in years gone by and this does not happen much anymore. We have forgotten how to embrace the joy of just appreciating nature, people and the abundance we all have. Let's dance again, it is good for our health and happiness.
RSC21 for May will be red, pulled the scraps together to make more nine patch blocks. The blue blocks that was started in the middle of April is nearing completion.
Will finish these big blocks first. It is all part of the springcleaning and decluttering. This one was not even planned, seeing the leftover blues was enough motivation to just do it. Had to use controlled crumb sewing to create a few pieces of fabric to make the required blocks in the size of the pattern. Once the blocks are done they will be another top for future quilting.
Blue bulbs flowering now.
That's a pretty pile of red scraps - perfect for your tiny nine patches! Playing with leftover bits can lead to all kinds of fun designs. I really like those blue blocks!
