A sunny start to the day. These tulips have yellow Centers, this is the best picture I could get. We had a knock on the door early, the town is bringing our new tree. With the lockdown situations we did not expect to see the town arriving and planting said tree.
Hole dug and the dead tree stump removed. They will be by later to plant the new tree. Always exciting to get a tree, the world needs more trees. Nature giving us a hug and cleaning the air we breathe.
We had to hustle and remove all the plants which was planted in the bed around the tree. They will go back once the new tree is in place, with the box that surrounds it.
It makes cutting the grass a lot more easier too.
These pieces are applique in place.
This is the second one, tacked in place ready for sewing on to the background fabric.
This tall plant survived the winter. It was not covered, got snow, ice and frost. It is a broccoli plant and it has a tiny broccoli at the top. Very imppresed with this plant. The twiggy plants is the peppers whic was indoors the whole winter.
