Polka dot Friday.


The first time I  made these flowers was in 2015. Made them with muslin on the bias here.
Decided to make it this time with a light weight interfacing. Traced the outlines on the dull side. 
Then sewed on the traced lines by machine.
Followed this with cutting the shapes with pinking shears. 
This makes turning them inside out much easier, retaining their shape.
Snipping up to the stitch line inbetween each petal of the blossom.
This is what they looked like.
The backs. Tried one which was cut  differently from the mother's. A simple slit in the interfacing worked better. Friday again? The week has flown by...
