Spending time with your loved one's and friends...

My friend Diane loves her stitching and yesterday afternoon she invited me over to come and see the pieces which arrived back home, this is Kringles.  It is a beautiful piece with lots of little details. On day four of the advent calendar it said: Spending time with the special people in your life. Our bubble is small and tight, so seeing Diane for a short while and doing a socially distancing visit, we are very blessed to be able to do so.  We chat frequently on the telephone and online with our friends and loved ones. Modern technology has been a saving grace for all of us. We all need special people in our lives, knowing how lonely it can be for those who live far away and it cannot be easy, so we make a point to consciously keep in contact more than before. When we meet we are strangers and when we leave we part as friends. So extend the hand of the friendship and don't be shy to take the first step, it can be the journey of a lifelong friendship.
Remember these printed fabrics from many years ago? They are now whisper soft pillows, with antique linen backing.
Stocking fillers and little gifts are those unexpected treasures finding their way into our lives. When we use them, they remind us of the ones who gifted them to us.
Table runners to celebrate the season.
Made a few which can be swopped out to enjoy on all the days when the weather outside misbehave...
These naughty gremlins or elves have decided today to join the fray, no matter which way they got turned and saved, they are not showing up...
Another snapshot of Dini's and Co.  Those little animals would make great stocking fillers for the little one's...

  1. I'm sure it is nice to social distance visit with a friend - better than no visit!
