Hot Chocolate...

On top of the tree, stars make an appearance very often in all shapes and sizes. Made these fabric stars recently.  They are fun to make and create patterns with the design printed on the fabrics.
Perfect for making on cold snowy days.
Handy carry bags, they can be used for a bottle of handsanitizer or bags for the doggies bags when going for a walk outside. They have magnetic snaps, making opening and closing them a breeze, no need to take off your mittens.
On the 2nd of December,  the advent said: Make hot Chocolate.  It happened after spending time going for a walk outside in the crisp cold, just before sunset. Having a mug rug to place the cup down always makes us think of the person who made it for us. Home made gifts from the heart is always welcome,  knowing someone spent hours creating something special with their hands and taking the time to make it. On that note, I would like to share snaps of Dini's and Co
All the ladies who make and create who share space at Dini's have a bio on the website and you can read more about them there.
As you can see, it is a diverse group from knitters, painting, stain glass,  jewellery making to quilting.
It is heartwarming to know how many people still enjoy making and creating handmade arts and crafts, treasures to enjoy for years to come which spark joy in all of us.Upcycle of a window, now not filling a landfill but adding an interesting element to a home. Maybe at the end of a hallway...
Christmas cards and letters arriving in the mail, each year we continue the tradition of writing to those near and dear to us. No matter how much technology advance it is something we enjoy. This is the first one which we received, the pleasure to write a letter and card, catching up on all the news, sometimes only happens once a year. Just to think in years gone by, before email, writing  letters was the way to connect and keep in touch!

  1. I always like the window frames recycled - wandering through shops can give us so many ideas too
