The daily routine.

As part of the daily routine, thirty minutes spent working on an aspect of a project that is currently in the works. The table runner was pinned and quilted in the ditch.
Checked the box with leftover binding, none was long enough that could work. One could work once a piece is added in a similar colour. This will have to wait until later in the day, houskeeping this morning will be on the list.
Enders and leaders was made while sewing the table runner. Over the past few years scraps was cut into shapes and placed in boxes. A pile gets placed next to the sewing machine, used as ends and leads. They get ironed when something gets taken along to the ironing board. Doing little bits here and there adds up. When the boxes are filled with finished blocks, these finished squares can be used in projects.
Hour glass blocks are trimmed for the stars, for RSC23.
While searching for the white felt, these strips of labels for Christmas tags was pulled out of the rubbermaid. Planning on backing them with a stiff interfacing and Christmas fabric scraps. They can be used at Christmas time.

  1. Pretty table runner, love how it turned out. Indeed, doing little bits here and there does add up. I have a box full of HST, I think I have to put it next to the sewing machine and get a few done each day. Those labels would be great as tags for Christmas.
