Peeling the apples for the pie filling and looking at all the different colours on the red peels reminded me of another section on the red and white quilt a piece of fabric which will be used for two more elements. The Dresden arcs on the Four corner blocks on the final borders and the branches on the second last round corners. Funny how inspiration strikes, when we are busy with something else.

Giraffe got some stitches. Also got into reading a book from the library yesterday, we finished watching another series from Denmark on Netflix called Rita, all about a teacher who went full circle. Different and creative solutions to a modern way of navigating the world of education and growing and evolving with the times, sometimes with no time to have a moment to think.
your pie and bread look so good! I will make a chocolate cake for Valentines Day I think. progress on the applique is good!
