It snowed over night again and the guys have been outside and shovelled the snow. It is cold here and overnight we had a -22C. So grateful and blessed we have a home, thinking of all those who are outdoors.
Yesterday was a funny day, so a little got done. I the morning the yellow nine patch blocks got sewn to this point, in the afternoon after a nap, the back stitching? With a headache niggling most part of the day. After lookingat this photo realized the "E" was missing a part, so will go back and fix it. Also want to work on the label for 365Quilt Challenge Quilt. The fairy is embroidered, just not the rest of the words.
Will work on that today, to get it finished.
yes we should all be grateful we have warm homes when so many do not have a roof over their heads or maybe they have a home but barely any warmth. Your quilting pieces all look good - I suppose you are used to the big snow falls I remember we were when we lived in the northern states.
ReplyDeleteThose little yellow blocks will sprinkle a little sunshine to your freezing day!! Oh my, those temperatures would be the end of me. =) Your little fairy is beautiful and just look at that exquisite quilt.....amazing!
