The corners on the binding needs to be stitched by hand, after sewing the binding on by machine. Will get this done sometime today.
Also need to add a label, which is not made yet.
Prepped some blocks and some applique can now be started for slow stitching for March.
These will be starched over the freezer paper, with all those points.
Afternoon Delight was a Block of the Month with The Quilts Show.com a few years back.
I keep thinking I will get back to my barely started Afternoon Delight after I get done with NYB but I don't know. I had barely started that quilt when I put it aside.
ReplyDeleteThat quilt will keep you busy for a long time!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, I have many starts and they take years to complete. Doing it a little bit at a time is the best way I know.
DeleteYou have a whole lot of hand stitching in your future. I love the quilt that you have finished.
ReplyDeleteThat was a quick baby quilt. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute little quilt that you're finishing up! Afternoon Delight will be a beauty, too. Enjoy your stitching today!
