Green hexies.

Green hexies sewn this week. My machine is in for repairs, so hand work has come to the rescue in more ways than one.
This week's charm row is finished. Spent a large chunk of time working on three smock dresses, they are now in various stages of being able to get them finished. Kindly, thanks to my friend Diane whom has graciously allowed me the use of her sewing machine.
Her Halloween Quaker is close to being finished.
My one monthly goal would be to get this row quilted, when my machine arrive back home.
The animal of the month 2018 SAL is now on the month of March. Lots of green and a pair of purple boots...

  1. It is so frustrating to be without a machine, but it looks like you are still making progress on other projects.

  2. Hoping your machine is fixed soon. Those hand stitched GREEN blocks look great, but it was SEW nice of your friend to give you a loaner machine!

  4. Your green hexie flowers are so fun! Hope you get a chance to do some quilting on those green arrows, too. It's hard to be without your sewing machine when you have things you want to do (ask me how I know)!

  7. Looks like you were able to swap pretty easily to hand work while the machine is getting repairs. Love that chain of charms and you can never go wrong with hexagons!

  8. Oh, you do smocking! So pretty. I've made a couple of smocked nightgowns for myself years ago, certainly I'm no expert but I love the effect.
