The cat is sleeping, snoring and no waking her up after her nighttime adventures which we missed entirely last night. Yesterday the car had to go for a service, it is now time to replace it. Finding a replacement will keep us busy, as the choices are a lot less than normal.
The bag filled with fabrics was sorted into colour groups and bundles. Quiltville Bonnie, has her mystery quilt starting on the twenty fifth of November this year. It has purple, orange, aqua and neutrals in it.
These fabrics in the bag did not yield those colours, but it has enough fabrics in it to do the mystery, just in other colours?
Will get all the pieces ironed and ready for cutting, so it can be turned into a quilt top.
Besides Jeopardy, we have watched Beauty and the Baker (lots of laughter). The Empress and Enola Holmes 2. We also played a new board game, " Isle of Kitty". With the cold weather the indoor activities are back on our regular rotation. The cat just loves the fireplace, she is happy when it turns on and she can get as warm an toasty as she can be...
shopping for a new car can be so stressful!! when we got our new one there wasn't much to select from for sure and we had to go out of town for what we wanted - I hope you can find one you like near by

DeleteCats love nothing more than being warm and cozy, and of course we dont begrudge them, do we. Best of luck with your mystery quilt. I started one of Bonnie's some years ago, and de ided I just cant cope with not knowing how things will turn out. So mystery quilts are not for me.
ReplyDeleteOh, I hate car shopping. Hope you are able to find something that will work for you. Cats do love to sleep in cozy warm places. There is an Enola Holmes 2? I'll have to go search for it as I really liked the first one. Looking forward to seeing how the mystery quilt advances this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the BH Mystery too. I'm not too sure about that aqua with the purples & oranges though! ha! We enjoy Jeopardy around here too. How do you like the new way they're doing the Tournament of Champions? My husband likes it how it was. Me? I kind of like it but it takes the strategy out of adding the 2-day totals. Hope you find a new car this week!
