Snowstorms and projects.
When the view from your sewing space looks like this, ice and snow! We have another storm arriving today, we do not have space to put anymore snow on the front lawn. The snow mountain is too high to add to it. Our muscles is telling us just how hard they have worked the past week with all the other storms that came through, since last weekend.
My go to solution, start another project. Blue fabrics which was going to be used for a Tahoe quilt, except I never found more companion fabrics to go with them. So a mystery quilt project needing only four fabrics is perfect for them.
Prepped a lot of parts and spread them out in various places.
Creative cutting of fabrics scraps have started too. More treasure hunting will happen with scraps today, escaping into a world of colourful fabric. Who knows what discoveries will be made.

You've made a good plan for dealing with the snow today. Have an enjoyable day of stitching!
ReplyDeletesounds like you have gotten too much snow when the piles of snow are so deep you can not reach to put more on it. I remember the spent in the northern states with the deep snow of winter - it took forever to melt at times. Keep busy sewing! and stay warm
ReplyDeleteBlue mystery quilt to the rescue when you're snowed under. I, too, have been sewing away & watching the snow accumulate outside. So cozy inside.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun to view snow from the sewing room while you start a new project. I am enjoying both vicariously.
ReplyDeleteI'm eager to see what those pretty blue fabrics become. Your snowy view looks much like mine today.
ReplyDeleteIdeal weather to sit inside and play with scraps.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog this morning. It is delightful. So much snow. It was fun to go to some previous posts and see what you have been working on. Nice work!
