I thought about getting that pattern once but then was glad I hadn't gotten it and never started it - I have a feeling it would still be sitting aside. Good luck on it and look forward to seeing progress on it
That's going to get a gorgeous quilt in the end, such a lot if work, it seems. But you are off to a good start with those paper pieced corner blocks done and dusted.
I've got a few friends that have started The Ladies of the Sea quilt. A few have even finished! Lol. Your corner compass blocks look great!
Are you familiar with TAS (The Applique Society)? It's a great group of appliquers and we get a lot of fantastic teachers that share different techniques.
I am not familiar with the appliqué group. I am so use to being the only one who enjoys appliqué, it is wonderful to know there is a group who enjoys it too! Are they an online group?
Beautiful work on those corner sections, Maggie. I love them. What fun ahead when you get to appliqueing those lovely ladies! Great to see your knitting too.
Love those mariners compass blcoks. The sock is looking great as well.
