We have a warm up here, yesterday was a great day. After snow, ice pellets we had rain and lots of it. Everything got washed down with lots of rain and mild temperatures arrived. A long walk with peaks of sunshine just here and there. The creek is full and is flowing at a fast clip. RSC24 green for January has been fruitful and lots got done.
Applique has moved forward on Love Entwined with leaves and stems.
This is where some of these borders was at the start of January.
This part with all these leaves and stems was the most difficult and it was put off because it was just too daunting before.
Corner blocks just need berries and embroidery details.
Baskets need more stems and leaves for this whole round, which surrounds the center block.
This quilt is mostly applique and will be worked on each month, there is still lots to do on this one.
The green triangle squares for Finding the Way is done, they will all be squared in the next couple of days.
The pumkin house stitching is slowly getting there too. Three floss colours is on their way, so those colours will be added once they arrive. Decided to work on less projects for now, to finish these ones first. The RSC24 colour challenge is perfect for getting projects back on track and to creating the things we want to, a great community.
You have a lot of time consuming projects happening. Winter is not over yet, plenty of time before we're outside working in flowerbeds and gardens. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteI'm awed at the detailed projects you have in the works. The applique is time consuming for sure and Finding the Way seems overwhelming to me. It's amazing. Can you tell me the designer of the Pumpkin House cross stitch? It's lovely.

DeleteI have that book that your second quilt is in and have looked at it but I'm not going to tackle it - good luck
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful applique project you are working on.
ReplyDeleteIt is snowing here, again. So, the knitting is continuing. Maybe I'll sew tomorrow. For today, I'll enjoy your sewing.
ReplyDeleteWow on that first project with the applique. A stunner for sure. It looks like you had a great January with progress on all your projects.
ReplyDeleteAmazing applique quilt! I know I had not had the patience. The second quilt is a stunner too. Pretty cross stitch project.
ReplyDeleteLove Entwined is quite the undertaking. You are doing a beautiful job! Great projects for all of us to watch you make.
ReplyDeleteYour appliqué is beautiful! So glad your rain on snow didn’t cause dense fog like ours did.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular progress in GREEN, Maggie!
