Very many small towns have a Farmers Market one day of the week or in most cases on a saturday morning, from June to October. They set up their stalls and sell their fruit and vegetables. Including honey, herbs, flowers and handicrafts. Knowing the produce is locally grown and has a smaller carbon footprint on the environment, makes it a easy choice. The fun of going from stall to stall to find just the bits one need for this weeks meals, not to mention meeting all the people who grow the produce.
