The year started off on a mystery, it set the tone for the time being. First was Old Town from Bonnie Hunter. A few smaller projects got worked on after that one, then this one caught my eye.
It only needed four fabrics, in my favourite colourway Blue! (goodhopequiltersguild.org.za)
Checked the yardage needed for this mystery, only needed to buy one meter of the dark fabric extra.
Everything else could be used from my fabric. The cherry on top of the cake, the winelands in the Cape inspired this mystery! It is a beautiful part of the world and we were blessed to live in Cape Town many years ago.
We are in for some wild weather this coming weekend and had snow this week too, so having a project to work on this weekend will be a welcome distraction.
The last clue and the reveal will happen this friday, have caught up with all the parts.
The winelands is beautiful, with the mountain peaks surrounding all the farms. Harvest time all the leaves turn golden colours, it is a sight to see.
