Summer is here.

To say stuff got done here and there, sums up our last couple of weeks. The weather is nice and we have been taking full advantage of it.

Fitting in as many walks as we can outdoors. The garage got rearranged to give us access to our bikes which will be used more now as well.

The mystery stitch along second corner is done, two more to go for the month of June.

This top was in the rubbermaid for future quilting, hubby decided it just needed to be a little bit bigger for his nephews wedding quilt.

The extra border is now sewn on, it got layered and pin basted ready for quilting this past saturday.

The sun moved as the it was basted. With humidity back this had to be done early. This quilt will be machine quilted, two wedding quilts need to be machine quilted this summer. One baby quilt, once I know the gender as well. Also working on birthday and house warming gift sets in my sewing room. Will show pictures once they are gifted, including a secret project that I have been working on for months.

Orange blocks.

The orange blocks for finding the way has been trimmed. This project needs all the triangle square blocks trimmed and dog ears removed. Will spend time this month to trim past months for this year too.

It feels good to finally get to do this.

All the orange is all caught up and done!

Good Golly has lots of orange, brown, cheddar colours. Worked on the paper foundation pieces as well this past week.

On my walk yesterday I had to wear a mask because of the wildfire smoke and the tree pollen.
