The sun is shining, the spring bulbs are flowering and the bumblebees are back! It makes me smile.
I have been in the garden, getting dirty playing in the soil.
Some stitching happened, some quilting too.
All the green, blue and most of the purple bands have been quilted. Some of the purple bands still needs to be quilted and the green borders. Have been taking my time on this one, it is a big one.
The pink birthday quilt, will be appliqued. Lara received a different quilt last year, so this one will be gifted in the future with a new name and year on it. Will fuse all the pieces for machine applique and work on it slowly.
The top will then go into the rubbermaid to be quilted in the future.
We decided it was a nice day to walk to our voting station on monday past, one of the ponds we walked by. It was our Federal elections this week, record numbers voted in the pre election days!

ReplyDeleteI have lots of chickadees at my feeders and now they make me think of you. Lovely quilting and I so love that birthday quilt. What a wonderful project to have on the go and in such sweet colours. Yes, isn't spring wonderful!
