Snow progress.

It was snowing here today and two rounds of snow shoveling happened. Before the plough and after it came.

Kate and I did a swap, she sent me some pinks. They arrived this morning.

The post office has so many parcels, they are sending notifications for parcels to be collected. Rayon embroidery thread has arrived! Will be using it for machine quilting,  applique and embroidery.

Some sewing happened. Slow progress, which is fine as we got to chat to our eldest son and his wife. It was great to just relax.

Flying geese two different ways, using scraps.

Bonnie Hunter’s mystery quilt along.

Made more than what is required. Had fun practicing how to make flying geese with different methods.

Merry Christmas to you and your family, all over ther world.

  2. love the winter scenes - that is not happening here with warmer than average temperatures - we were outside in short sleeves on the deck half the afternoon and at my brothers house he shared a photo of Christmas Eve dinner on the table outside on the deck - after they got done cooking it was too hot to eat in the house
