Playmat quilts.

The last of the fall leaves.  Our walk yesterday, was pleasant.  When the weather is good, we get out and enjoy it.  This morning we woke to rain, wind and low visibility.  The remnants of hurricane Patricia has arrived in our parts this morning, it will effect us for the next 36 hours.  Inclement weather poses risks we hope to avoid.  It reminded me of the people who have no choice to be out in weather like this, all the emergency workers.

Center Panel.

The borders with EMS, Firetrucks and Police vehicles.  When one is in need of these services and have to make use of  them, one realize how blessed we are to have such amazing people in our world.  It takes a special kind of person to do this job!
The stream along the path, has this weir.  Over the summer we have seen it so low, not much water was going over it.  Yesterday we saw this, with the rain today, all that will change.  The trees this morning has lost so many leaves already. The grass is covered in leaves.  All in a manner of a couple of hours.

  1. I like the red emergency vehicle fabric. I wonder why I don't have any in my stash?
