The yarn was bought on my recent trip to South Africa, a 100g ball of yarn. I figured it would be enough, except this happened with twenty more rows to go.
Needless to say, this was not going to work. So back to the drawing board. The yarn is back into a ball and it will wait until something else pops up to knit.
Block number four for the birthday QAL.
Block number five.
Block number six.
Block number seven.
I have made that sweater and I used a skein with 250 metres. You could do it again with short sleeves. I knit my sleeves last to make sure I had enough yarn.
ReplyDeleteThe yarn is thicker than I thought it would be. It will work for a pair of mittens.
Deletesorry you ran out of the yarn especially knowing you didn't buy it local!
