Four Seasons.

This is the oldest work in progress. On our recent trip out west, it went along just incase a moment in time presented itself to receive some more stitching..
The peach flower was started many years ago, so when we had rainy days work continued from here.
Working on it daily as the rain happened on a daily basis. Where pockets of the days was dry we went out and explored, enjoyed nature.
The bumble bees this year are double or even triple their normal size.
Back home very little rain fell while we were away, the plants bolted and the onions went to seed.
Tomato plants have fruit on and everything that was not growing before is now growing fast.
The heatwave is back and the air is filled with wildfires smoke and haze. The smell is overwhelming in the air, so we are back indoors for now. Stitching will continue, along with time spend with loved ones.

  1. your garden seems to be doing well I hope it continues - by late morning the air is so heavy from being hot and dry that you have a hard time breathing and it is time to come back inside - I was outside on the porch for a little bit working on hexies and then walked around looking to see if anything needed to be done in the garden and it was so hot you could barely stand it - came back inside!

  2. It is hot here too! We can only go outside very early to water the garden, by 9am we have to come indoors. The air is too hot and the humidity is too high.
