2017. A new year.

Winter is here, lots of snow and the cold has arrived!
The Splendid Sampler:
Two more blocks are now almost done.
365 Challenge:   1st July to 6 July done.  I have now started, where I stopped in 2016.

The Wish Quilt:
Pieces of the Past:
Using wax crayons, to create unique embroidery pieces.

Colour in with white, all the areas you want to colour in.  Then do the colours on top of the white.
Once all the pieces are coloured.  Layer on top of paper towel, then cover with paper towel  and iron.  The heat from the iron, melts the wax and leave the pigment behind.

Next step, one can embroidery the pieces.
This is a fun way to add colour to projects.  For Kids, Iron a piece of Freezer paper to the back of the fabric, then let them create their own masterpieces.   When the weather keeps the kids indoors, this is one way to entertain the kids.
The stream is full and the snow and ice is everywhere.
The trees are covered in snow.
With the snow, walking in the forest, it is a quiet wonderland....
