11th of December

Teddies and Angels.

At Christmas time, teddies must be doing a roaring trade.  We all have one well loved teddy or "stuffy" cuddly toy somewhere!  A friend makes the most amazing teddies, called Minky Bears.  They are small bears made from mink coats which is no longer useful.  They may be missing a sleeve, sprouted a tear along the way.  A way to recycle them, make teddy bears, check here is just one of the many blogs, showcasing some of these amazing bears.

This is one teddy in the making, no fur here.  This is a tiny one, with moving arms and legs.
The size of the pliers, it took three years of looking for a pair that will work for the hardware on this bear.
You can find the pattern here.  It is an Angel Bear.

Cross-stitch patterns also feature beautiful patterns.
Started this one.
Can be found at The World of Cross Stitching.  As you can see teddies is well loved, no matter their shape or size.  Every Christmas we all have a special Angel watching over us....  Be kind, spread Peace and Love, to all of those we meet.
